Tim DeWeese died Feb 28, 2002 from heart related issues. He was 46 years old.
He was an extremely gifted athlete. He played basketball and baseball at ACR, and received many accolades in both sports. Tim was awarded a scholarship to play baseball at WCU.
Tim was an assistant coach at Western while obtaining his Master's Degree in Physical Education.
He went on to teach and coach at Tuscola High School. He left education for a few years to work in sales. He returned to education and was teaching PE at the Juvenile Center at the time of his death.
Tim was a very kind hearted and compassionate person. Always caring for those less fortunate than him. Many days he would give rides to classmates who were walking in Oakley. He stopped at The Oakley Food Center every day on the way to work.
Tim loved to laugh! He loved his family and friends! He was son of the late TG & Alice DeWeese. He was survived by his daughters Lindsey DeWeese, Paige DeWeese, a grandson Cameron Alan Kimsey, brother Bruce DeWeese and sister Susan DeWeese.
