Before ACR: Anna B. Lacey - Chattanooga, TN, Oakley
After ACR:I moved to Alabama in September 1973 and have been here ever since. I lived with my grandmother until I was able to get a job and move out on my own. I worked a couple of business offices, as a credit clerk, a bill collector and accounts payable and payroll clerk. After I got married I was a stay at home mom until 1994 when I became the secretary at our church, St. Michael's Catholic. I am still there and am now the financial secretary. I also fill in for the town clerk at St. Florian Town Hall and am responsible for the posting and reconciling of all of the town's bank accounts. I am a member of our community's history committee. We have documented how and why our community was founded and also the family histories of the founding families. We are now beginning to add information about families there were living here before the German settlers arrived.
