Timothy Bo Paul Lunsford, 55, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 9, 2009 at his home.
A native of the Asheville area, he was the son of the late Leroy Lunsford, and Ann Shope Lunsford Hyatt, and Bo's step-father, Fred Hyatt of Fletcher. He was a US Army veteran, having served in Iraq during the operation of Enduring Freedom (2003 to 2004) and retired from the North Carolina National Guard.
Bo grew up in the Grassy Branch Baptist and was a member of the Biltmore Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion and helped the local VFW's from time to time with charitable fund raising efforts.
Bo was always ready to help a friend or stranger, if they needed help. He loved the Lord with all his heart.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joylyne; his daughters, Michiko Lunsford Jones of Stockbridge, GA and Sachiko Lunsford, and her husband, Zach Triplett of Barnardsville; son, Kenji Lunsford of Honolulu, HA; sisters, Tammy Pressley of Asheville and Teressa Hoffman of Asheville; brothers, Leroy Lunsford, Jr. of Asheville and Keith Lunsford of Asheville; granddaughters, Annie Lunsford and Gracie Jones.
