Steve McKee passed away in June, 2014.  His Obituary: Asheville - Icon is a word used to describe an irreplaceable individual who makes a difference in his community and makes a lasting impression on each and every person with whom he comes in contact. The Oakley Community as well as all of WNC lost an icon last week when Steve McKee, "The Clock Man", took his last breath on this earth.

He is survived by his care givers, Mr. and Mrs. Purcell Todd, Sr.; a host of cousins and friends.

Service will be held Sunday, July 6th at Cross Key Church on Oakley School Rd. where he was a member. Rev. Judith Manka will officiate, burial will be in New Boiling Spring Cemetery on Fanning Bridge Rd. in Fletcher.

A fund has been set up at Mountain Credit Union for East Asheville Youth Basketball in the name of Myrtice Todd.
