Nancy "Bo" Hefner went to be with the Lord Monday, September 26th, 2016 with her loving family by her side.
Born November 18th, 1954 to the late Allen and Edith Harris. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Roy Hefner. Nancy was a true fighter when it came to her life and family. As tough of a woman as she was, she was even more so the sweetest, kindest, and loyal person you would ever meet. She loved her family more than anything and fought for them until she took her last breath. Nancy is survived by her sister and best friend, Edie McMahan and husband, Bobby; brother, Don Harris; sons, Matt and Mitchell Hefner; daughters, Melissa Hefner and Vicki Smith and husband, Bobby; her beloved grand baby, Hayleigh Hefner; uncle, Grady Owenby; niece, Amy McMahan Crawford and her husband, David; nephew, Shannon McMahan and wife, Savannah; and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 PM Saturday October 1st 2016 at Emma's Grove Baptist Church in Fletcher NC, 28732. Visitation for the family will be held at 1 PM with refreshments following the service. Flowers and arrangements are appreciated and may be sent to the church.
