Joe Ann (Pack) Edmonds 53, went to be home with Jesus on August 1, 2009. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Bill Pack and Mavis Wright Pack of Fairview. She was a member of the Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Willie Edmonds, and her sister and her son, Betty Jean Owens and Mark McKinney.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Misty Owenby and her husband, Brian; granddaughters, Amber and Kaitlyn; sister, Darlene Kuykendall, and her husband, Wayne; brother, Freddie Pack, and his wife, Terri; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held at the Chestnut Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Eddie Harris and Ronnie Simmons officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
